Multi-product online gaming brand, Betsson Group, has strengthened its “long-lasting” partnership with Yggdrasil after entering into an exclusive six-month agreement with its Betsafe brand in Lithuania.

Under the terms of the content distribution deal, Yggdrasil’s award-winning content portfolio will be made available to the brand beginning in April.

Splitz mechanic:

The integration is to include the iGaming supplier’s January Aztec-themed release, Temple Stacks, which is also the first title to feature its innovative Splitz mechanics, offering unmatched win potential. Also included in the deal are fan-favorite games such as the Vikings trilogy – Vikings Go To Hell, Vikings Go Berzerk and Vikings Go Wild – as well as its entertaining wildlife slot, Multifly, set to be released on March 24.

Additionally, Betsafe customers within the European country will be able to gain access to Yggdrasil’s second Splitz game, Neon Rush. Due to be released on April 23, the game gives players the chance to earn up to 15 Splits of a kind and the opportunity for a big win on every spin across 6 jackpots.

To top off the deal, Betsson will also gain access to the Stockholm-headquartered supplier‘s unique collection of in-game promotional tools, BOOST, in order to “drive player engagement and retention” in the Baltic state.

Commenting on the recent deal, Head of Nordics for Yggdrasil Gaming, Patrick Nordwall, stated in an official press release…

“Betsson is one of our key customers and we are thrilled to extend our long-lasting partnership and partner with them in a new market.

“We continue to implement our growth strategy in regulated markets, and we are looking forward to offering our games to local players in Lithuania, especially titles featuring our new mechanics Splitz™ and upcoming Gigablox™.”

For its part, Betsson Group Product Director, Ciara Nic Liam, added…

“Yggdrasil’s games have been very popular among our customers across all markets since day one of our partnership and we know Lithuania will be no different.

“Their ever-growing portfolio of innovative and engaging games will be a great addition to our existing offering.”

European presence:

Lituania’s online market was regulated in 2016 and that’s when the operator entered the country and now operates betsafe.lt there. Betsson became one of Yggdrasil’s first customers in 2014 when it signed the original partnership agreement. Since then, that arrangement has grown to cover multiple jurisdictions including Spain, Latvia, Italy and Denmark.

In recent years, Yggdrasil has expanded its regulated market presence across a number of key markets, a position that is further strengthened by extending its content integration deal with Betsson in Lithuania.
